The Marratons

The Marratons

LiveLoudLocal

Four friends from sixth form, a stack of borrowed amps and a set built from classic rock, indie anthems and songs of our own. Out of West Cumbria, playing anywhere that will have us.

The Marratons mid set in a stone-walled pub, bass on the left, vocals centre, drums and lead guitar under the bunting

The band

We are four friends who met at sixth form and started a band. The set moves between high-energy classic rock, the indie anthems everyone in the room already knows, and songs we have written ourselves.

Our first gig was the Off to the Local festival at the Yellow Earl in Whitehaven. Since then we have played our way around the West Cumbrian circuit: pub back rooms, village shows and town festivals.
